MANILA, Philippines - The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated (BPCI) teams up with the Samahan ng mga Pilipino para sa Reporma at Kaunlaran (SPARK!) Philippines for an early celebration of this year's International Women's Day.

Two days ahead of the worldwide celebration, the candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2020 actively took part in an Empowering Women Seminar on March 6 at the Cyber Park Tower 1 in Araneta City.

The girls engaged in a fun and insightful lecture by SPARK! Philippines Senior Program Manager Hans Madanguit on topics such as gender and sex, gender sensitivity and responsiveness, gender and developments concepts, and roles of socializing institutions.

At the end of the seminar, the Binibinis learned how they can be an active, effective, and productive part of the society as a woman and as future beauty queens.
