Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2023 Anna Lakrini was named 2nd runner up at The Miss Globe pageant on November 18 in Albania.
Miss Globe 2022 Anabel Payano crowned Malaysia’s Manvin Khera as her successor. Other runners up are Spain’s Katia Agbodo Rodriguez (1st RU), Nigeria’s Duru Esther Chidera (3rd RU), and USA’s Kirstin Yvonne Bangs (4th RU).
The Filipina-German beauty queen from Bataan impressed in all segments of the pageant in Tirana, Albania. For her national costume, she donned an intricate outfit inspired by Queen Phunbenuwa, ruler of the mythical kingdom of Thubig Diyagen of the Subanen ethno-linguistic group.
She slayed the swimwear round in a white one-piece bikini, showing the audience why she bagged the Best in Swimsuit award in her Binibining Pilipinas batch. She elegantly graced the stage in two beautifully crafted gowns -- first in an emerald green gown, then in a silver gown with a slit and beaded details by Louis Pangilinan.
For the Q&A segment, Lakrini delivered a strong response to the question "What is your favorite life motto and why do you choose that?".
The Miss Globe 2023 is the pageant's 20th edition under the management of Deliart Association. A total of 51 contestants, including Lakrini, competed for the crown. Past Binibini winners in The Miss Globe are Ann Lorraine Colis (2015) and Maureen Montagne (2021).
