Samantha Panlilio stuns in symbolic national costume

Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021 Samantha Panlilio paraded with a beaded suit and humongous wings during the Miss Grand International national costume presentation on November 30.

The Binibini queen showcased a butterfly-inspired costume with wings that illuminated when the stage lights were dimmed.

Inspired by the Paru-Paro Festival held annually in Dasmariñas City, Cavite, Panlilio’s costume served as a representation of her hometown. The festival is held every November 26, and symbolizes the city’s transformation from its barrio origins to its elevation as a component city.

Collaborating for Panlilio's national costume were designers Louis Pangilinan (for the outfit), Santino Rivera (for the wings and headdress), and Jojo Bragais (for the shoes).

Panlilio will once again grace the Miss Grand International 2021 stage on December 2 for the preliminary competition, and on December 4 for the coronation night.
