Binibining Pilipinas International 2022 Nicole Borromeo was named 3rd runner up at the Miss International pageant.

The Cebuana beauty's runner up finish at the pageant, held on October 26 in Japan, marks the country's highest placement at Miss International since 2018.

Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg crowned Andrea Rubio of Venezuela as her successor. Runners up are Sofia Osio of Colombia (1st RU), Camila Diaz of Peru (2nd RU), Borromeo, and Vanessa Hayes of Bolivia (4th RU).

Borromeo delivered a stellar performance during the pageant held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo. For the opening segment, she joyfully showcased a unique sea urchin-inspired national costume.

For the most part of the pageant, she graced the stage in a beautiful Furne Amato blue gown.

Borromeo sealed her placement in the pageant by delivering a powerful response at the question-and-answer round, which centered on her personal advocacy.

Miss International 2023 is the pageant's 61st edition. A total of 70 contestants, including Borromeo, competed for the crown.
