With news of the first batch of 2017 Binibining Pilipinas Queens doing well in their respective competitions abroad, the excitement has been building up among local fans as the pageant season continues to heat up.

Before the remaining Queens head out of the country to compete, Miss Universe 2017 bet Rachel Peters, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2017 Chanel Olive Thomas, and Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017 Katarina Rodriguez received a rousing send-off party organized by the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) at the Monet Ballroom of Novotel Manila-Araneta Center on Monday, November 6.

Rachel, Chanel, and Katarina were radiant and brimming with confidence as they warmly greeted and thanked members of the press. Members of their families as well as a handful of friends also came to show their love and support for the beauty queens.

The Binibining Pilipinas winners said they are grateful for all the support they have been getting, especially from Filipino netizens who actively root for them online. They asked for continuous support from everyone for their upcoming pageants.

The beauty queens received words of encouragement from no less than BPCI Chair Mrs. Stella Marquez Araneta.

The Philippines, which is now known as a beauty pageant powerhouse, continues to show strength in various global competitions. With more triumphs for Binibining Pilipinas, the event also became a homecoming celebration for Elizabeth Durado Clenci, 2nd Runner-up finish at the recently concluded Miss Grand International in Vietnam; and Nelda Ibe, newly crowned 1st Runner-up at the Miss Globe 2017 pageant in Albania over the weekend.

Liz and Nelda, who were present at the send-off, did not miss the opportunity to give their Binibini sisters heartfelt well-wishes, and express gratitude to their supporters.

Rachel will be competing for the Miss Universe title in Las Vegas. All eyes will be on her, as she strives to follow in the footsteps of her compatriot, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. The Coronation Night, happening on November 26, promises to be another major worldwide event.

Meanwhile, the Miss Supranational and Miss Intercontinental pageants will both be held in December.
