BB. PILIPINAS 2010 PROGRAM INFORMATION, GMA 7
The country’s most prestigious beauty search has just become more exciting with another milestone in the pageant’s colorful history.
Taking on the theme “Shades of Glam,” Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) and leading broadcaster GMA Network, Inc. pay tribute to the Filipina beauty with not just one but two spectacular pageant nights for Bb. Pilipinas 2010.
The Pre-Pageant Night, which will be taped on February 26 at the GMA Network Studios, will give the viewers a chance to take a closer look at the 24 official candidates as they sizzle and mesmerize in the swimsuit and long gown competitions. It will also be in this pageant that winners of the first batch of special awards will be announced, including the first winner of the Best in Regional Costume award.
Hosted by Rhian Ramos, Drew Arellano and JayR, the television special will be telecast on February 28, Sunday, 10:30 pm on GMA. JayR also joins Kris Lawrence and American Idol finalist AJ Tabaldo in a special medley of love songs with the official candidates.
And on March 6, 2010, Saturday, at 7:00 pm, all roads will lead to the historic Araneta Coliseum for the Bb. Pilipinas 2010 Grand Coronation Night. The culmination of the most exciting beauty competition in the Philippines will be made more engaging with a fabulous production number with the reigning queens and a serenade of the candidates to be rendered by no less than Mr. Arnel Pineda, lead singer of the popular American rock group “Journey.” Meanwhile, GMA heartthrobs Akihiro Sato, Victor Aliwalas and Daniel Matsunaga will serve as escorts to the candidates during the long gown competition.
Bb. Pilipinas 2010 will be hosted by the dashing Mr. Dingdong Dantes, E! Online’s World’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2008 and host of the top-rating game show “Family Feud.” Fast-rising primetime leading lady Ms Carla Abellana also joins Mr. Dantes as segment host.
The Grand Coronation Night will be telecast at 10:00 pm on March 6, 2010, only on the Kapuso Network, GMA-7.
