Venus Raj receives recognition from Congress
The House of Representatives formally commended Miss Universe 2010 4th runner-up Venus Raj for her recent achievement in the international beauty pageant. The commendation is indicated in House of Resolution 287, authored by the AKO Bicol Party List and Chair of Committee on Youth and Sports, Rep. Renato Unico Jr. The simple ceremony was held during Congress’ recent plenary session last September 7, 2010. Ms. Raj represented the Philippines after winning this year’s Miss Universe-Philippines title at the Araneta Coliseum.
