The country's most prestigious pageant renews its commitment to Operation Smile Philippines, which marks its 40th year this 2022, through two separate hospital visits made by the latest batch of candidates.
The Binibining Pilipinas 2022 candidates visited the young patients of Operation Smile Philippines at the Sta. Ana Hospital in Manila on May 31 and at the Rosario Memorial Hospital in Pampanga on June 1 to spend some quality time with the kids. Binibinis 1 to 20 went to the Manila hospital, while Binibinis 21 to 40 travelled to the Pampanga hospital.
Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold and Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021 Samantha Panlilio also joined the Manila hospital visit to the delight of both the facility's patients, staff, and guests.
The Binibinis bonded with the children as they happily joined in storytelling and storybook coloring. The beauties also enjoyed eating meals with the kids, and had a great time taking photos and talking to the young patients.
Emiliano Roman, Executive Director of Operation Smile Philippines, expressed gratitude in having these Binibining Pilipinas visits as a way to help spread awareness on the organization's free medical program for kids in need.
Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) has been a constant supporter and partner of Operation Smile Philippines in its mission to provide free reconstructive facial surgery to indigent Filipino children and young adults born with cleft lip and cleft palate deformity.
